Jeff from my experience that's not a very common place for them to have a oil leak as they are machined surfaces with a O ring. Most times oil leaks are from the shifter mechanism seal or the u joint input seal, oil will run down the drive onto the cave plate. You may have to pressure check the drive with about 5 to 10 psi of air to find it. Mark

Drive oil leaking out of rear exhaust (where typically exhaust bellows are connected) very slightly and more so out of area where exhaust fin is used on smaller boats (above prop on lower unit). Oil is clean as can be but still leaking nonetheless.

270T Oil Leak
Thanks Biggus. My suspects are on the first attachment. I ordered these two O-rings. Is this where you found your leak, where the upper and intermediate meet? Or was it actually up in the Upper housing? I attached diagram of that as well can you pinpoint for me where the leak was?
Thanks for the reply and any help you may be able to lend!
