I have restored and own an original 1966 27' Magnum Donzi for the last 15 years. It is time for someone else to enjoy it. This was once a Don Aronow personal race boat. Refer to page 67 of the book "Don Aronow The King of Thunderboat Row" by Michael Aronow. All of a sudden I see Magnum Donzis everywhere.
I was in the Niagara River two weeks a go and spotted a boat I had been trying to get a better look at for a long time. It was indeed a Magnum Donzi. The guy who has it restored it 20 years ago. He is currently running a 454 through the v-drive and says he enjoys cruising around in it. I thought my sedan was old and unique, but he has me beat by a mile. How about posting a photo of yours?
