After lots of calls, I got a great deal on two fuel tanks from Alloy Metal Works on Long Island, NY, $425.00 each
1/8" 5052 Aluminum, with all fittings, new senders and 2 partitions per tank like my originals.
Everyone else was at least $100.00 per tank more, and that's only $50.00 more than Scippy paid 5 years ago!
Delivery in 1-2 weeks , and they ship by UPS!

Sounds like a good price , but 1/8" is borderline on this type tank. My Maltese came with 1/4", which in my opinion is overkill , 3/16" is the norm on this size tank ( which would probably bring the price back up a $100 ) . Dont want to be a downer , but I've pulled out 1/8 " tanks and they felt like a shoe box. Good Luck!!!

Every shop I spoke with quoted 1/8" aluminum of the same alloy material. Tomorrow I'll cut into one of the originals and see what I removed. I'll report here in 24 hours or less.
A few years ago I built a 44 gallon tank for a Donzi and that too was supplied in 1/8" ?

Mario.........Marshall turned me onto Alloy ...you'll be fine with those tanks, I watched as they did the welding and baffle install....great fabricators and best price around!
