Mark made a comment that Magnum did not do glass work like seen this in his boat. I agree ,of all the Magnums we have looked at they all lacked the final touches you see here.Remember these were production boats from the 60's thru the 80's and not custom made .. Also the person who owns this boat is a glass person...what would you expect ???? All we need is the HIN # and we can verify if it is a Magnum....until then. If some one has his phone number please send it to me ,need a good glass person in my back yard. Bud

Hey Pete-How is the restoration coming? I really would like to see her some day.If I were to get my hands on another 27 project, I would really consider a single (I would pull engine/drive from my raceboat) OR Twin Outboards. I know the Magnum purist cringe at this however-there was a 27 with twin OB for sale in Ft. Myers several years ago and I was impressed with it. Also-High Life (God rest his sole) had a twin engine Sedan OB and it seemed to handle well according to him. I dont need to go 90, I could be very happy with a reliable 65 mph boat. Both these engine options will get me there. The OB would probably be less maintance than the single big block.

Hello Bob..............Recently I've been in contact with Cary 29 about his boat. He's converted his 29' I/O to a twin merc 300xs's on a bracket.....it's the same hull just 2' longer than the 27' mag sport.....he said it handles just great!
