1969 28 Maltese Magnum in Miami
Found this while driving in Miami. In my opinion if you are looking for an excellant 28 Maltese Magnum for restoration, then here it is. He is looking for 12.8k. I had seen it a few days earlier, but today had some time to stop by and get some pics\info. He was presently fixing a trim pump and tuning misc items. The smallblocks started right up a sounded good. I am not in the market, but figure someone here on OSO might want a good project.
Twin SBC's, TRS, TRI-AXEL Trailer, bolsters.

Reason: Is a 28 Maltese Magnum, not a 27 sport as I thought.

MOTORS: Looks nice, sounds good, but I think this is a good restoration boat because it is complete for little dollars.

Boat has bottom paint. TRS drives, Dual-ram-tabs. This is a "ten foot" boat with respect to cosmetics. This one has all deck fittings and so forth to be a good project.
Good Luck

That is a 28 Maltese Magnum, different boat from a 27 sport or Starfire. Real nice find though. It should make someone a nice boat.

28' Magnum Maltese
I found this same boat recently for sale in the Miami area and am quite interested in buying it. This boat apparently sold to some one else, who has had it 3 years and is now selling it. Owner says it has 95% of it's trim, is missing props and needs minor mechanical work, as well as a through cleaning. Engines run, he starts them every 2 months, drives are fine, trim tabs work, etc. Boat needs a general updating(re-freshing). Has a triple axle trailer as shown before. I was curious if anyone could tell me of fair market value for this boat. I grew up boating in the Lake Erie Island area & that is where I plan to use the boat until I retire. Thanks!

Fyi
Its listed on craigslist for $5500. I thought about it. The drives look pretty rough but would prob make a good resto.
