Want to see some good “old school” racing? It’s happening in Europe and it’s coming to you right here on OSO. The Powerboat P1 series is hot and with our own All-American Luca Oil Outerlimits Racing Team of Mike Fiore, Joe Sgro and Nigel Hook (yes, we know Nigel is a Brit, but he’s an American citizen!) we have a team brining the news home to the States!
American Powerboat Television will continue to prepare news segments that will air periodically on its new show (stay tuned for more on that news) but those segments can be seen on OSO. The last report from Malta got buried in this forum but it has some great footage of the first race.

We are now awaiting a new video news report from American Powerboat Television, but in the interim, Janet Wilson has created a very cool music video that captures some of the action from the second Naples, Italy race. It is on YouTube:

SPEED will be carrying full race coverage of the Powerboat P1 circuit stating in November and we’ll keep you posted with more on that as dates are available. Unfortunately, right now, the only coverage is being shown in Europe, but we’re working on getting copies of that to show here as well.
So you can tell we are “juiced” over the action across the pond—Powerboat P1 puts on a fabulous event—well promoted, produced and executed and it is wonderful for Lucas Oil Outerlimits Racing to be a part of it. Mike, Joe and Nigel create a very unique team of racers with triple the number of World Championships in their back pockets than most other teams can dream.
The team is off to Travemunde, Germany next week and we’ll be in touch with more news then. I had a computer melt-down in Naples, so my on-site blog didn’t happen, but we will be in touch along the way at:
