The day after Tropical Storm Hanna
Things weren't so bad in Still Pond. We added 2 more boats later on, and no one left until the last minute. We stayed out overnight.

Unfortunately, the day after the storm I was on a plane headed back to the desert and away from the beautiful day you guys had. Glad you guys were able to enjoy the day!

Stacy - That's what you get for thinking you can "just spend a day or two" in Chesapeake Bay. Anyone who comes over for a Poker Run or other event needs to book from one weekend all the way through the following week and into the second weekend as well. There is SO much to see and do in this area....

You really do need more than 2 rain soaked days to enjoy the Bay. We've been going to the bay for 25+ years and have so much left to see. Schedule some time away from events and we'll give you a guided tour of the bay.

We'll be back there this Sunday (9/14/08). Saturday looks like it might be salvagable, so we'll plan on Lloyd Creek in the afternoon and Skipjack Cove Saturday night.
Just listen for the warcry: "JJJJJEEELLLLLOOOOOOO shoootttttssss!!!!"
