Default Need an engine builder

Does anyone have any recommendations for an engine builder in the MD Baltimore area, even DE or northern VA.

With so many internet companies being unreputable or out of my price range. I don't need a 20k motor in a 25k boat!

I'd like to find someplace local to do most of the machine work and some of the assy. I can do the rest.

I need a 550HP motor built. I'd like a place to be experienced in marine but i can't seem to find anybody i would trust.

Thanks

I have been extremely satisfied with Nelson Anderson in Pasadena, MD for over 25 years. Honest, prompt, returns phone calls, and leaves the boat cleaner than when he steppped aboard. He would be a good person to contact. 410 255 1007.

I would not hesitate to call Tony at CMS. He has a lot of HP experience as well as former racing exp too. He's done both my 502's and will be doing another set for me again. PM me if you want the contact info.
