VA Beach Hotels
Going to the Va Beach Boat Show on 2/14 and spending the night at the beach. Can you locals recommend an ocean front hotel? 3-couples and want something pretty nice.
Thanks

I am not to knowlegable on the rooms by Boardwalk, area you probably want to stay. But I will say, if you are going to the VAbeach boat show for Performance boats you will be WAY disappointed. I had the biggest/nicest display of performance boats last year, and the show wasn't even worth us doing again. The show is a "Fishermans" show, biggest display will be Bayliner, Trophy and Searay.
If you are looking for performance save your money fly to Miami show, if you want a "Fishin" boat go VA Beach.
Here is a pic from last year, you will see.

My buddy is looking for a center console and I need electronics for my fish'n boat. We've been to the VA Beach show a bunch of times but never stayed over. Usually do go to Miami but not this year. Just looking to get out of Richmond for the weekend. Thanks

I am 99% sure there is a pretty nice Hilton that is ocean front. I'd start there.

31st Hilton, nicest hotel at the beach and a great bar , there is also a brand new Hotel on 11th street, I think it's a Marriott.

I sell what the customer wants, the problem is VA Beach is saturated with Cheap azz fishin boats, and I just don't want to bother with it, seriously its like selling a bass boat.
Now if a guy wants a Fishin boat that can whoop some azz, I am all about it.

Try vbvacationmarket.com or gold key vacations. They have some killer "hibernation packages" for people from out of town. gold key owns or manages most of the hotels on the oceanfront. 866-685-7654

Stay at the Hilton-31st and Atlantic. They have a great seafood restaurant there called Oceans 31.
