Dont worry their will be alot of people to follow and help tie up at the stops. Put in at the Rt 4 bridge boat ramp on the Calvert Co. side, and you will probably see alot of boats doing the same for the fun run. Just follow them to the Tiki Bar. From their you just have a good time. Sorry I wont be able to make this one. Have a wedding to go to in Myrtle Beach.

the best way to learn a river is running it with 35+ boats

50 miles is not bad at all

I joined, but do you have to be a member to run?

For all you attending for the first time, the best place to launch will be under the Solomons Island bridge. Great ramps, plenty of water, plenty of parking, only cost $5.00 or $10.00 to launch. It's less than 5 minutes to the Tiki Bar for registration..
Like dreamboater said, the total run roun trip is about 50 miles long. We have 4 stops. Last stop is at Vera's Beach Club (What a party).
We had over 40 boats join us for our spring poker run and want to have more boat attending this one.
2 hands paid out $1300.00 each to the winner.
This is put together by a "non profit organisation" "Maryland Powerboat Club" and all the entry fees and proceeds go back out to the boaters.
Please join our club (membership is free) and join us for a great fall poker run.

Anyone can run this poker run. We are all here for the same common interest = boat, have fun, etc.
Membership is free, so why not join. This is one of the fastest growing powerboat clubs.

How long does the party at Veras last, how far is that back to the ramp under the bridge, and how late is the ramp open.
Is there a group rate at Holiday Inn?

Ive also never run the river and was planning on following Randy. But since he's getting married that weekend i guess i could drag an anchor and follow Wayne.
