Dont think their will be a lot of people getting out and walking around in the water their!!!!!On the other hand you probably wont have a problem getting the anchor to hook their in 6 feet of mud. When the storm blows up everyone should stay put even the 40 foot boats with 15 feet of anchor rope out.!!

Depends on where they do it, to the right if looking out at the water from Tims it's got a good bottom or way to the left. It's only bad right out off he dock where most people are at most of the time.

If the boaters get in a jam, storm is coming and find the water is over 3'-0" deep and do not have enough anchor line, I suggest using bikini tops spliced in to make the anchor line a full 4'-0" , bring plenty of SPF 30

FROM FACEBOOK PAGE

this post to clear up any confusion and concerns in regard to Aquapalooza 2010. We are very excited about the decision that was made by the National Sponsor (Sea Ray Boats) and our Regional Sponsor (Prince William Marina). W...e were one of the three event host locations choices for 2010. The other locations that were in the mix were Tim's Rivershore and National Harbour. So as you can imagine were very pleased our other Restaurant was chosen at least we kept the event within the family. The decision was made for many reasons. The event not being at Fairview was not due to any negative responses or reasons. We have had very sucessful events due to a great community and County that has given us great support. Although we appreciate and are flattered about all the concern and support being expressed, we would like everyone to channel that energy towards supporting Tim Bauckman and his staff at Tim's Rivershore in Dumfries. We look forward to seeing all of you this summer at both locations and we appreciate the support and patronage you have given us through the years. We know that without your loyalty and support we would not exist. Lets make this another fun, exciting, and successful event and season this Summer!!! Happy Summer and See You Soon!! Guy Booth & Desa Bragdon and Staff at Tim's II Fairview

If they do it right it will be good, Tim has that whole beach to the left that if they clean it up will hold alot of people where kids can play, we do are watercraft demo days there and it's a nice sand bottom out to over my head and I am 6'5". Tims 1seems to run a little faster it's more protected than T2 plus for the people that trailer can use the park right there and get out faster if the weather gets bad, and the rest can run to Mattowoman creek.

I think its a great idea. It will keep all the Coast Guard, Marine Police, and Va. police at that end of the river.
