Sad thing is it will still be less expensive for smokers to travel to VA to get their fix.

It is......when you come across the bridge from Va. to Md. its free. Thats about the only thing thats free though.

It is:

If you don't work, you get every thing for free.

You work, the state is free to take as much of it as they want.

That Beak Boater guy must have retired good, every one else I know had to head south when they retired so they didn't have to go back to work.

Still don't understand why it is only a toll from MD to VA and not both ways.

My guess would be that it lowers overhead. Less booths, employees. It's more cost effective to charge (2X) once.

This really sucks for those that travel the bridge every day. Wonder how it will effect the ezpass deal
