I wonder if they are actually going to run laps, or if its just a static display? You would think if its for publicity, they would have it on their website.
Some of us actually remember the races off Hains Point in D.C. I am sure you do James!! So do I but now I am telling on myself.

On the H-1 web site home page the page rotates, when you see the pic of DC then click on the page and it will give you more info.

The H-1 Site says 4 boats will put on a demonstration. Tow Boat US is going to tow the boats from the crane to the dock, they are supposed to make some laps on a marked course then put them back on a trailer. Tow boat is supposed to retrieve the boats after the demo and tow them back to the cranes. Pretty good chance they will run something weather & conditions permitting......

This is supposed to be a press and impress event so they better run something

If the weather is nice a couple of us are putting our boats in at benedicts around 9 or 9:30 and riding down to the bridge to watch the races.
