Was just on the Prince William Marina web site, looks like about 50-100 people, 30-50 boats. I have had more at my house on the spur of the moment.
They have a big barge and a loader, they should fill 55 gal. barrels up with cement with a chain and float on them and put them out at Tims II and make the people tie to them when they raft up. That way they can space them for the water taxi to have lanes and they wont move when a storm comes, then pick them up and store them till the next year, but it wouldnt hurt to leave some out. Might need a permit to do that though. It could be made to work and be safe even with a storm but it will take a little planning, not just hope for the best. To many stupid people that think one or two lines out will hold 20 boats rafted up in a storm, or they go in the cabin and hide and have no idea whats going on outside.
