Brad, I have a call in to the current owner of the original Midnight Express Inc. I will let you know when I hear back from him.

I'm assuming that this is a center console. After midnight went under, many were built under the name "Saltwater" and many were sold to the Florida Marine Patrol(FMP) as part of a plea agreement. I ended up with one that was customized by the great Mike Fury and it was called Cystal. The boat was later sold to a guy in Destin. The hull was popped by Ultimate and a few others. The last time I saw the molds, Felix at Condor had them but that was many years ago.

Bandit 1980 vintage 30' Midnight with dual helm and storage

Posting a few pictures of my 1980 vintage 30 foot Midnight. Any information about the historical context would be appreciated. I bought the boat a few years ago.
