Default LOTO Shootout Viewing From Shore

Any public access land areas on the south side of the lake from where you could (legally) watch the 2008 Shootout boats run?

Just going to watch if it works out, not participate.

I was just down there over the last week end and it apears that the area is full of private homes and condo's so unless you know someone there, probably not. Should be a good time though and a beautifull area.

I was afraid of that. It's always a good time but the view from the shore of the boats running is usually limited at best from the opposite shore with the armada of boats between you and the runs. Viewing the rooster tails of the big boats was usually it from the old Shooter's venue. If Captain Dave's is higher up that would be a good thing.
