Welcome to Save The Taco!
For 15 wonderful years, our friends at Dog Days Bar and Grill have been serving hungry boaters the best meal at the lake. What is this mysterious tantilizer of the taste buds you ask? Why the INSANE TACO.
Etched in the legend and lore of the Lake of the Ozarks, Dog Day's Insane Taco can only be described as: A huge sourdough shell filled with ground beef then topped with Cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion, served with salsa and sour cream.
But alas, it is no more! WHY MARK WHY!?!?!?! No more can the hungry masses descend on our favorite bar at the lake, and partake in this delicacy!
Change? Progress? Bah Humbug we say! BRING BACK OUR TACO!!!!!!
There is nowhere left to turn, but to the good people of the lake. This is a grass roots movement to demand our taco back! We have it on good authority that if we're able to collect 5,000 signatures, the Insane Taco will return to its place of glory on the Dog Days menu.
