Not a problem if you are running water and have mufflers.

Just keep an eye out for the water patrol and be cool when near them. You'll be fine a slong as you are not goofing around.

Fine?

it was a saturday afternoon, running at 30 mph,not close to any boats or shoreline at 10 mm.stock 500 efi's in 38 fountain with swim platform, officer stated that they plan on stepping up and enforcing the noise laws more aggressive.
dont really understand the mentality but with the current economy seems like bad business to me!

2001 Cig 38 - SOLD! Looking for 39
You know....Reps for the tri county area should see if they can pass a law for LOTO raising the noise limit to 93dbs May through September. Think of the poeple that no longer want to come to the lake for fear of being told "take it off the lake"

There's enough boat traffic and noise on the lake during the summer no one is going to notice another 3db but it sure would make life a lot nicer for those that want to run but are worried about being pulled over.

They are real good about setting up no wake zones, check points and so on, how about some measures that make people WANT to come to the lake instead of trying to drive off people? Someone with a stock 496/502/525 shouldn't have to worry about their vacation being ruined because they are 91db
