After going to both for several years, our experience is St Louis is better than Chicago, especially if you are interested in performance boats. But St Louis is changing too with less performance boats each year, which is a reflection of what is (or is not) selling at LOTO. We still think St Louis is a much better show than Chicago.

That sucks... I'm guessin' that the Detroit Boat Show is going to be just as bad. Times are definitely that bad... What's going on with Fountain/Baja and bankruptcy? Is Awesome Cat even producing boats anymore? Was good friends with a Donzi dealer, but he's out of business now... And I'm guessing with the new financing problems banks aren't exactly giddy about writing loans for 1/4 million dollar boats...

Thanks paub32,

If your going to the St louis boat show. Dont get to excited. Its the smallest I've ever seen. Even the exhibits are 1/2 of what is normally there. The only performance boats there were Baja. Not worth the $ 20 for parking and addmission.

But at least they have Bud products - unlike the Chicago show.
