What's HB? Not familiar with that condo group... We are looking for somewhere different to stay for the shootout

As far as kids and sitters. We have several different sitters at the lake. Some good friends of ours have a 14 year old son and often times he watches our four year old. (it works pretty slick, we drop off the kid and then take the sitters parents with us for the evening).
is there much different between heron bay & the ledges? we always stay at the ledges since it seems like they have more rentals avail & a good location. but heron is basically same area so wonder if we should try them out sometime.

I've never actually stayed at the ledges. When I have been over there it just doesn't feel quite as friendly as HB. HB is sort of like Cheers "where everybody knows your name." Everyone is very friendly and could care less if you drive a trash truck for a living or your a rocket scientist. All of the units at HB are one bedrooms accept for the building closest to Dorsey's which are all 2 bedrooms. There are a lot of mwbp people that call hb home (me, cool change, repeat offender, machone, boatbums, shallowminded, team scarab, filthy oar, etc. etc.).

Griff rents @ HB a lot he might be able to shed some light from one place to the other.

Sorry for the hijack..

Ditto on what Baywatch said. Heron Bay is like walking into your neighborhood bar. The biggest issue renting at HB is finding big enough slips. Most of the slips that go with rentals are only 20-26ft. Also, the units are almost all 1BR/1BA and about 600sq ft. They are fine for a couple and even for us with 2 boys ages 6&9, but as they get older, who knows.
