I will try to get some more info, I am going to try to make one of their planning meetings, but I think the guy I talked to said Hideaway Harbor is going to be reservec for all the boats in the shootout that day.

I believe the park is where they are having all the land based spectators.

land spectators can watch from liberty harbor they are hosting the event. you can vist http://riversedgemag.com/indexlibertyharbor.htm to get the band line up and the whole days schedule. hideaway harbor is a public access ramp.

anyone know what classes there are? You think they are goint to allow boats to tie up and watch? All it talks about is how much it is to pay to get tickets to watch...

That sounds sooooooo f*ing AWESOME! Im a river rat as well im up in 14 soooo a little far to run for me but it sounds like a blast. What did you have to do to get this organized? Mabye we can make one up here too!

It is intended to be a summertime fundraiser to augment the Backstoppers annual Thanksgiving eve Guns and Hoses Boxing
Event.

Some guys that used to work on the DSRA shootout on the Mississippi in the St. Louis area are working on it. The meetings are every thursday night and I am working thursdays right now so it would be July 1st before I can make a meeting.

Boat Classes
Entries will be broken down by hull, length and horsepower. Special considerations and classifications can be made when determining modifications and weight/power ratios in each class. All classes are subject to entry class/minimums. Inspectors will have final authority where participant will be entered.
23 Registration Classes
(P) PWC
(S) Stock (All factory, non aspirated)
(M) Modified (Factory turbos, superchargers or aftermarket modifications)

(S) Single Hull (V-Bottom, Fishing, Utility, etc…)

(A) 19-26 ft <300 hp 301 to 500 hp 500+ hp
(B) 27-37ft <500 hp 501 to 1000hp 1000 to 1300 Unlimited
(C) 38ft + <800 hp 801 to 1200 hp 1201-1600 hp Unlimited

(M) Multiple Hull (Cats
