Thumbs up Good Experience/Mechanic Lake Cumberland

Just wanted to let everyone know who boats Lake Cumberland that I tried a new mechanic this year for a difficult outdrive issue. I was having problems with an '05 Mercury Bravo XR drive coupled to a 525. Other shops wanted to throw a set of upper gears in it guessing at the problem. I finally took the boat to DJ at Marine & Speed. He tore the upper unit down and found no problem. Ended up finding a minor issue with the cable and connection to the drive. Back on the water for much less $ and very happy with the service and price. I would highly recommend him to others in the area.

I have never had to use DJ yet, but I have heard a lot of things about him.
