Default Hows the weather at LOTTO

We are leaving tomorrow evening for anual trip to lotto and I have seen the bad news about Joplin (best wishes to anyone involved down there) but I am curious if the weather stayed far enough south or did lotto get som bad weather as well

I've been here in Osage Beach for a couple of weeks and we have had a lot of rain. Today was just beautiful all day but the reports are saying bad storms are coming in tonight and we will be wet for 2 more days. It is supposed to clear up Friday and be nice through the weekend. Hope you have a great vacation here.

Lots of rain the last few weeks, but it looks to be clearing out later this week. The weather this weekend is looking much better.

LOTO did not get any severe weather. The weather this coming weekend looks like it going to be fantastic. Unfortunately, I won't be there

Let me ask my buddy who has been down there all week. He was out yesterday. Said they got slammed from 1 AM - 5 AM with rain again this morning.

Update. As of yesterday afternoon, water was free of debris and down to 685.5 from 660 (full pool). This was between the dam and the Gravois.

I ran 84 miles on Saturday, not bad. A few big trees and some firewood. Should be gone by the weekend I'd guess.

We lost power Monday from 11 - 7 due to strong winds blowing over a tree down the street. The Memorial Day weekend weather is almost to nice to believe!

Not too much debris in the water unless in the back of a cove; however Might be a bunch of cans/bottles after Sunday, lets hope not. Weather could do anything. I would count on rain one or maybe two days this weekend and possibly a thunderstorm to blow in for an hour or two, it seems a storm always blows in on holidays. Forecast has been all over the place, hope the rain stays away! Enjoy your trip!

thanks for the info. does anyone know if anything special will be happening down there this weekend? Any fun runs? Last year gators had a "rehab" party that looked kind of cool but by the time we got down that way it was dying out

Not too sure, I have been too busy to look recently. First year i havent de-winterized the boat prior to Memorial weekend....sad. You might look around on midwestboatparty.com or call up some of the local bars like shady/lazy gators, backwater jacks, dog days, captain rons, coconuts, shorty pants, etc. They may be involved in something.
