Question 87 Fountain

Has anybody seen the 87 33 Fountain red with gold stripes name on the side was "Red Hot"? It has been on the Lake of the Ozarks since it was new, didn't know if it was still around. Thanks

Default 87 Fountain?

I know of 2 boats like this at the LOTO. 1 has Woody Wood Pecker on the side , it owned by a guy from St. Joe , he is freind of owner 5-65 Marina.

The other was brokered by Raymond's a while back and is owned by a guy from Des Moines. You could ask Richard at Raymond's about this one. I think they had TRSs drives and 454s if i remember right.

Hope this helps. I think they where both for sale as of last summer.

I was the original owner of the boat, the woody wood pecker was put on the nose two or three owners after I traded it to Raymonds for a new Scarab back in 93. I registered the boat through Missouri so I never documented the boat. Just wondered where it was at and how it looked these days. Thanks everyone for the info.

I remember when you got that Steve...it was the shiznet in it's day! I THINK I have seen it on the water a few times but never parked anywhere to get a look at it. Remember the plastics guy that had the 10 meter with arnesons on it? Seems like it was one of the 1st 100mph vees...who/what was that one? Sucks getting old and senile....

Brian, Good to here from you, long time,,,long time. John Lyle owned the 10 meter with Arnesons,it went to Texas and was never seen again. I remember when the guy came to buy it he told John if it would hit 90 he would buy the boat so John popped a 90 on the the speedo and the boat was sold. Been down your cove over the years and that Sonic still looks great.
