Due to the recent weather and potential safety concerns with rising river levels the poker run event scheduled for this weekend will be postponed. Communication will be sent out once a new date has been finalized with all necessary parties. Current registered will be transferred to the revised date. The Quad City Powerboat Club is excited to present their 2nd annual Poker Run to benefit Make-A-Wish® Iowa and Illinois Chapters. Make-A-Wish® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Last year this event helped raise $21,000 for Make-A-Wish® and they hope to exceed that amount this year with your support.

Due to recent weather and area flooding, the Poker Run was rescheduled for Saturday, August 24th, 2013 launching from the Captain’s Table in Moline, IL. Enjoy the beautiful and scenic Mississippi River with stops in Moline, Davenport, Bettendorf, Le Claire, Hampton, Port Byron and Cordova. See website qcpowerboat.org for a list of all poker stop locations by land or by water. Registration is $25 per entry.

Poker hands will be dealt from 3-6pm at the Captain’s Table with many great prizes including a $1,000 cash prize for best overall hand! Stick around for the after party as there will also be a silent auction, 50-50 raffle, and dunk tank along with great food, drinks and entertainment. Enjoy an acoustic performance by Karl Beatty from 4-6pm and live band the Hooks from 7-10:30pm.

The party starts early on Friday, August 23rd, at the Captain’s Table with packet pickup starting at 5pm. Enjoy music Friday night by live band Lynn Allen from 7-10:30pm and an early start on some great silent auction items. For more information or to register online visit www.qcpowerboat.org
