How do these three compare? I like all three but have not been on the water to compare ride or quality of finish and build................. Any thoughts?

I had a 30 Spectre in my shop some time ago and thought it was a very nice build. Nice layup and construction. I saw no issues on it.

My only regret is that I didn't buy a cat sooner. I will never own another V again.
Spectre/ Motions are very similar just find the one that fits you the best and enjoy.
My motion is for sale, but the only reason I am selling is because we are in the process of starting up production of our diesel outboard and I don't think i am going to have time to use it. Once work settles down I will own another Motion.

I really liked my Motion 30. The Motion is a wide boat. I think at the transom it was 109" and wider in the middle. Tough to get through a 10' garage door. I always wondered why the 28 skaters where faster with the same power until I was on the ramp at the same time as a 28. The 28 is small, lower and narrow, and an easy 500-800 lbs lighter. I think a 32 skater is closer in size. I think the Motions are one of the best buys in a Cat.

Love my 30 Motion - like Maritime said, won't go back to a v-hull performance boat again after owning a cat.
Unfortunatly I have mine for sale as well - baby's on its way and I don't see us doing too much boating over the next 12 months...
My boat is a 2001 30 w/ 225 promax motors. Easier to insure as a "first cat".
