Default Diesels/

Does anybody know what diesels will be offered in the MTI 55 and what kind of performance can be expected?

All MtI's are built to customer needs. That's what makes it nice!

Wellllll......I have had this conversation with Randy before. Depending on the weight of that C32, it is very very doable. Ideally the 55' would be rigged with power that weighs 2000lbs or less per side. I am no diesel genius but I would bet the C32 weighs more than that. You also could rig a single diesel powerplant putting out 1800 HP connected to 2 seperate surface drives. Performance would be directly related to the overall weight of the power.

I believe the 39' with diesel power ran in the mid 80's.

Just as long as it's pre-painted. Which, BTW, is sounding promising.

I did a little research last night and found the same info. There are better diesel power plants for a performance application.
