Baja 322 - Twin 540's
Check these Mufflers out!!!

Zoomers Cyclones Marine Muffler Long Barrel - 4" Clamp On - $719.00

Detailed Description
Clamp-On tips include set screws
12.5” Overall Length
6” Body Diameter
4” Inlet
4” Outlet
7.5 Weight
Zoomers Cyclone muffler design allows for an efficient flow-through muffler. As the turbulent exhaust gases and water enters the chamber's larger diameter, it is contoured and spun by it's patent protected stationary vaines. The result is a drop in pressure, which scavenges the water and gas. This scavenging effect allows your engine to breathe better resulting in increased performance.

Zoomers Cyclones Tests:

26' Commander with a 496 HO (425HP) - Stock 94.0 dB

26' Commander with a 496 HO (425HP) - Zoomers 84.0 dB

29' Shockwave GT Performance with a 3300 Whipple Supercharger (850HP) - Stock 102.0 dB

29' Shockwave GT Performance with a 3300 Whipple Supercharger (850HP) - Zoomers 87.8 dB

Test conducted by HotBoat Magazine (March 2005 Issue) showed little or no loss of RPM when compared to stock set-up.

Here is a set of the long barrel 4" clamp on mufflers installed...

The clamp on version use a set screw to prevent the mufflers from working them selves loose and falling to the bottom of the lake...

500 efi db levels

Zoomers look great has anyone done db level tests on Mercury 500 efi and if so what were the db levels ?
I would gladly spend $1400 to pass noise test but wouldn't be real happy if they can't pass.

DB, yes they have...hotboat tested them and on a 496 mag & 525 engine package.

496 Mag 82.9 dB
525 87.7 dB

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Don B.

How safe are they to use with out the set screw. Not crazy about the idea of putting a hole in the exhaust pipes, because it will look bad when not running the mufflers?
