I got a line on a used Lowrance antenna for 10 bucks, if the output format (NMEA 2000???) works, then I've got it made.

What format does the little orange wire from the receiver need to be in?

Saw a couple on e-bay too, just need to confirm the data format.

Brad.

Here is a link to the documentation on how to wire your own antenna to a Livorsi GPS speedo. This document says it requires NMEA 0183.

We offer a GPS receiver by Hardin Marine. I am not familiar with the other receivers that are being recommending on this thread so I cant give you to much input. All I know is that most people are looking for a clean looking white colored GPS receiver, and that is what we offer. Hardin's is white and has the wire come in from the bottom giving a clean smooth installed look. Hope this helps. For more info and pricing visit the site.

Thanks,
Brad
