Well I was trying to dig up the older issue of HotBoat magazine where they actually did a test on the 525 motor along with the 496.

The dbl was about 86 on a 496 and 88 on a 525 and they had about a 200 rpm loss on the top end and about 1 or 2 mph.

have you tried these on any 600 sci motors , also can you take a picture looking straight into the back/front of the pipe
so i can see straight through it

No they have not been tested on the 600sci. Keep in mind these are rated up to 500 HP and anything above that will result in greater HP and RPM loss. You will not be able to see through the muffler for it is a chambered design in which the exhaust is filtered through numerous slots on the inside of the 5 inch chamber.
