I could not find the rebuild kit on your website. Can you please provide the link / pricing and confirm that they are exact replacements for the plastic pump housing found in the Mercury 807151A14 kit, compatible with the 700 sci. The water pump has a boss for mounting a mechanical fuel pump into the snout.

This will replace the back half of the pump just like the 807151A14 would. Don't forget your fittings! 1" NPT inlet and outlet on the backside of the pump instead of molded nipples.

These pumps use OEM style Mercury impellers and should be replaced seasonally. We spend hundreds of hours running sea pump impeller testing only to find out that most of the claims were B... S... The colored impellers didn't move the water flow. Larger diameter impellers blew the blades off. We really saw it all. You can really hand it to the Merc guys they do make the best impeller. We felt there would be nothing worse than to be traveling and need a strange water pump impeller you may not be able to find. This way the standard Mercury service or like impeller can be used to get you back on the water in a flash.
