What does it take to install one of these on a dual pickup lower. Note: the upper holes are plugged!
Can you just drill into the nose cavity?
Thanks,
Dave

You know I have heard of this but almost every case was with a Hydromotive "Universal" style nose cone we haven't experienced this? Who's nose cone did you use?

It's a pretty big job on a low water pick-up unit. It requires cutting the front section of the lower unit back. Definitely a job for a experienced individual.

I'll play,
How much is it for a single kit, standard, no low water pick up? PN 620-11250. Oh, and can you ship to Australia???
(I suppose that's the important part!)
Cheers,
John

Hi John, the Hardin Marine nose cone retails for $129.99 and we have plenty on the shelf. We ship all over the world everyday so shipping this to Australia is not a problem. Give us a call today and we will get you setup!
Cheers,
KEPP

As stated in the 1st post the Nosecones work best on Fast 80+ mph boats with High X dim's. If you have a 60 mph boat with a low X you will lose speed just because you are now dragging more Sq inches of mass through the water, Though they look cool as Hell on anything, they don't work on everything.

Thanks Fastdonzi.
I am aiming for 80mph (+) though and I figure if it doesn't work, I'll take it back off.
You're right though, they look cool as hell!
Thanks KEPP, if I get time I'll give you lads a call today.
Cheers,
John
