Re: 6 Blade Propellers Now Available

The Hydromotive 6B propeller will induce a greater amount of stern lift. It is because of the 2 factors:

1) Each time you add a blade you will induce more stern lift.
2) Cleaver design propellers induce stern lift and round ear blade designs induce bow lift.

So the 6B will have a much greater amount of stern lift than the 5B.

Great Question!

Re: 6 Blade Propellers Now Available

will these 6 bld work well on a bigger cat? rite now we run a 15 1/4 x 36 4 bld @5000 rpm, with 525's turning a 1:36 ratio. could we see better results with your 6.

These propellers work very well on cats. If you are running a 4B now you will be absolutely amazed with the 6B. These are sterndrive propellers.

Re: 6 Blade Propellers Now Available

what would you recomend for a 34 Phantom with twin 625 hp. I am looking for 5800 rpm. The motors have not yet run in the boat so i don't have a base line. I had 28 4Blade running the 500 HP's at about 5300

Gary864,

Have you dynoed the motors yet? I would like to know at what RPM the peak HP is produced. This will help us to determine the appropriate pitch. The 6B propellers will work fabulously on your boat!!!! The Phantoms love cleaver blade designs.

Re: 6 Blade Propellers Now Available

I have a 38 Fountain Fever with a full cabin. Would these 6 blade props be usefull in a pleasure boat application or are they ment for the lighter race boats without a cabin?
