Re: 6 Blade Propellers Now Available

Matt
1. what kind of money can we expect to get a pair of these 6 blades for?
2. what increase in performance over the 4 and 5 blade?
3. do you recommend the 6 blade over the 5 blade for cats?
4. when will they be ready for sale? And are they already labbed?

Look forward to your replys.

Re: 6 Blade Propellers Now Available

Eliminator 219,

The Hydromotive H6 is $1800.00 Lab Finished, wihich includes one adjustment afterwards with no servicing charge.

The acceleration is improved of that of a 4B or 5B.

My recommendation for a 5B or 6B would depend on the goals you have set forth. This would determine the appropriate propeller.

The props are currently available and labbed to order.

Thank you for your interest!

Re: 6 Blade Propellers Now Available

The Nutz raced Throttle-Up Hydromotive 5 bladers so far. Both pointed ear and round ear. Round ear gave better acceleration.

Both Blue and Black Nutz tested the new 6 blades over the last two weekends, and we LOVE them. Even better acceleration, better grip in the water, same top end.

This is the prop we will race in Algonac, St. Pete and beyond.

Re: 6 Blade Propellers Now Available

B-Stubb,

We would love to talk to you about your application. The 6 blade prop has certain advantages over the 4 and 5 blade props but each one is made for the customers application and boat. We could talk to you about whether the 6 blade is a prop that may work for your application.

The 6 blade props have exceeded our expectations. We currently have one running on a Super V Light boat that has acheived speeds, that I believe, no other Super V Light has. These props are popular with cats as well as high performance v bottom boats.

The acceleration of the prop in conjunction with the top end gives it a major advantage over 4 and 5 blade props.

Re: 6 Blade Propellers Now Available

In Key West we saw some amaozing results with the H-6 propellers. We are quite pleased with the podium finishes this year. Thank you to all of our teams running the Hydromotive H-6's!

Question Re: 6 Blade Propellers Now Available

Julie, how will the H-6 props compare to the P-5X props regarding stern lift.
