Im still contemplating which way to go. A couple of these should help.
I would go with the new ASD-7 that they have now. It will handle the power and is very efficent. Way cooler than weisman or a #6 i think. Or just throw on some ASD-8 they are way naughty. Tracy your dog is sweet action.

Thanks, Didnt even know they had a 7, bad ass looking. Looks smiliar to the 8 with a LOA of 52". The 30' Skater the application was on looked awesome, from set up to colors and everything. Im worried about bow lift, carring the nose, with three motors and a generator it should obviously help. The light layup should somewhat offset the additional hardware so it will be close to my last 4300. The only trip set up I saw was on the 48' Fountain w/440 yans. Before the storm I recieved a few picks from Rik with a propellor guard, looked cool, Im trying to find a pic so i can post it. The drive itself doesnt stick out any further than what I had or a #6. Also from what I read the placement is the same as a Bravo.

Terry, now don't forget my X-MAS present of the no cost upgrade from the trip 525's to the trip 850's w/ 6's. I really appreciate Nor-Tech's generosity. Thanx again, Wrink

What are you building this time, you had trip Nortech 625s if I remember correctly, met you briefly at the Orange Beach/Pensecola run. Trips are the way for me, you proved it to us on how quickly your boat got on plane with all those people on board. Jeff
