After re-rigging, overheated constantly, never ran to the standard I was accustomed to from NT.

Traded Warbird V for a 60' SeaRay (we went through a naming contest here: "Falcon"). Had to sue the "guy" that I traded through for the final papers.

As you get older and wiser, you learn that there are some people that you never do business with again...

Hans is correct; Warbird III weighed 17,000 lbs and ran 140 properly trimmed and driven. Alpha Boat-What a rush!! Maybe one of the best ever...(and I'm so old that I must be years ahead of my time too LOL!!)

GrandPa Dont you want to get back into a fast boat again. Dont you miss the thrill. Jeff

James-
No thoughts on a Warbird VI, perhaps 50V rigged to your liking?????
Also, that was nice spread on your Midnight in PB Mag. - boat looks killer!

So yeah i guess we're the King of Quads.

Old thread but my bet Cary is the King of Quads. My understanding is they built around 60 Cary 50's with either Quad 454 or Quad Merlin diesels. And I happen to be one of those 60 folks.... My only wish is that it would run half as fast as one of the 50 Nor-Techs.
