Default Poll for cat buyers

And of course anyone else that has an opinion.

As we're developing the new 3900 Roadster the subject of rub rail no rubrail keeps coming up.

We know the pros and cons already. Obviously it looks better without but then there's the practical side.
BTW it's about a $15,000 option.

So let's throw it out for vote.

Of course if you vote you will be required to buy one!

pretty steep on the option, 15k? nice. i think either way would look nice and am guessing guys would order it both ways. how the hull and deck gonna be joined in the tips of the sponson? not a huge fan of the way the 36's hull and deck are joined up there, but it obviously works well without any problems.

Very labor intensive, 80 hrs or better plus materials. It will be flush all the way around. As for the price, it's about what the "other guys" charge.

it looks way better without..but I believe with a good paint job it can be hid, plus you never know when a large gust of wind might come out of know where

To RUB or not to RUB, that is the question. IMO, I think the 39 Supercat should come standard w/o it. Optional, yes, of course, and for the $15k charge - its worth it, for some, to save their $40k+ paint. So, after my 6 winning #'s, I'll take one in a bright green paint scheme and engines that scream.

Can I add an option to the survey??? I like the idea of a 1/2 cap, as it give you the best of both worlds... maybe a $8000 option

I think Nortech should at least offer it as a Standard Option. Competitors offer it, and it does look very sleek, The new 39 will be in direct competition with MTI's 39 and Skaters 388, Most buyers who will spend this amount of money won't blink at 15k, I think you will sell this and believe it will filter into your other models as well.
