My 525 boat ran 85 all day, i saw 88 once. Never ran it in salt but I was told it would do 90.

With fresh HP 500 rebuilt by Innovation my '98 (Poker Run Edition) with Imco outdrives and Mercury Lab Finish props ran 79.8 mph on GPS. It had some high(er) speed "handling" issues with the original Bravo units but went away after the Imco units were installed. I once read a magazine artical saying the boat used for testing had the same issue. Not sure if this was a common "problem".
