This is a great boat that was redone a few years back. The bottom needs updating as some of the others have to run correctly.

Looks like the bottom mods have been done, Any idea what the original power was?

Exhaust are a slick design, tucked in the tunnel.

I have never seen that setup on the exhaust. The boat originally had 1150 Potters when my brother had it. He didn't have it but one summer and never could get it to run correctly and never messed with the props. Are you changing this boat to Arnesons?

Yep, I only spend a few months of the year in Florida so looking for a reliable package
Not looking for 140mph plus be happy with a 90-100mph cruise to get to the Keys etc.

Going with ASD8s and 800-1000hp custom diesel power.

That would be a great setup however that boat will hop from 80-105

What are you looking at for diesel power? I have ASD 8's and yanmars in my 48 Fountain.

Not well know or well liked in the US but Seatek is the only option, I love the design four valves per cylinder forged internals polished rods and monster torque.
Going with overdrive transmissions with a prop speed of around 3800rpm, was in a very similar setup boat and it ran sweet 90 all day and topped out at 110.

The extra weight and the revised hull mods should help the hop, Cg will also be a little further to help the problem and exhaust location helps squeeze the air in the tunnel.

I have always been a fan of Seatek but just couldn't find many with any knowledge around the southeast. Should be a great setup and keep me updated.
