back to the grind
Well, I picked up my 05 king ranch and love it. Got two engines assembled but not dynoed yet. My brother rewired the electrical system and I have a before and some after photos of that. He used to work on Apache avionics and is now retired and is getting into boats so if anyone has a job for him in the Nashville area, I'm sure he has the time. I'm going back for another 3 months to the sandbox and will return in Sept. Hopefully be testing the boat during that time. Hope everyone has a great, safe summer.....Casey

Casey,
Your brother's wiring makes the factory's look bad.
Very impressive stuff. We have a local HP service center called EB Marine. The owner is a friend of mine, Eric Betty. I will make sure Eric sees your brother's stuff. Maybe they can hook up. Does/did your brother work at Aerostructures?
Be careful back in the sandbox!
Regards,
Steve

Re: back to the grind
Hey Steve, hope you're getting to put some hours on that Heat. I should be getting into the water in Sept if things shake out with my motors. My brother retired from Dynelectron at FT Campbell which contracts to the military for a lot of thier maintenance. Trouble shooting Apache helicopter avionics was his thing. He's been reading up on marine systems and code. He is rigging my boat for shore power and updating the galvanic corrosion stuff that it never had. (the last owner removed the Mercathode system) Also bought an Optima dual battery powerpack (marine) and located that to the cabin under the instrument panel. That really cleaned up the engine bay of excess cables and solenoids. He lives in Goodlettsville and I'll pm you with his contact info. Enjoy your summer, Casey
