Re: LA Boat Show
Great Photos!
I wish we had shows like that here on Long Island.
All we get to see are the cruisers and fishing boats. Every once and a while they throw in a Fountain or OL and sometimes Cigs. Thanks for the good post.

Re: LA Boat Show
I just moved to KC from L.A. -- and right now the biggest thing I'm missing from Tinseltown is the Boat Show.
Somehow the Overland Park boat show just doesn't quite live up to my standards -- but they did have a couple of nice Skeeter Bass Boats...in Camo graphics.
I saw a pic of the Flame in the open bow configuration in a Nordic ad in this Month's Hot Boat magazine. I think they may have missed the mark making the open bow small (looks to me to be the same size as the Heat.
I'm headed to Miami this Sunday for the boat show next week. Not sure if Nordic is going to be there?

Re: LA Boat Show
Does anyone know if these new boats (43 cat and 47(?)V) are being built in Havasu or in Randy's Australlian Cyclone plant?
I can't see the Havasu plant facilitating these monsters; At least last time I was there.
Also, is it a 47V or 43V? It doesn't look like a 47 but pictures can be deceiving By the looks of the entry it looks like Mr. Davis doesn't plan on looking at the back side of many boats in the Catatlina Ski race Is it even stepped?
More pics!!
Thanks
Dave

It's been interesting. KC is definitely different. Looking forward to summer out at LOTO. Trying to find a lakefront home there. How's things?

more new boats
Lonnie says there are 2 projects on the burner........a 30' vee bottom that can run a single or twins, and the much anticipated 32' tunnel. From what he said about the tunnel (licensed Skater 5 step hull/modified Thor deck) it's going to be a badass ride ...........
Sorry no pictures of the boats, just us bs'ing about them

NORDIC has been trying to secure space for the Miami show for months to accommodate these big boats. Unfortunately this year will not happen. They will exhibit at Miami in 2008
