Default New Boat II

Well, My wife and I went with Bob & Kathy to get their new boat and guess what happen. My wife fell in love with the 27' Lighting Deck Boat. O yea, I did to. So Mike at NORDIC takes to the back shows us this white/red/gray to fade black carbon Lighting and it was all over.
to top it off, it will be in the Hotboat mag in March. So it looks like Bob and I have another road trip to NORDIC.

I just want to say thanks to Mike and everyone at NORDIC for making us fill at home last weekend and giving us a tour of the plant. What a bunch of nice people.

Here are few pics of the boat.

Default pretty boat

I saw a Lightning at the last LA show when Bob and I were there last February. I agree it's one of the prettiest (nice graphics, great lines) deck boats made.
I like the colors on yours a lot.
Now sneak that 540 in there and break some hearts next summer !
Regards,
Steve

That's what I said. I figured he wouldn't want to watch the stern of a Searay so.............

I'm being the instigator now!! But I think Beth would

I think Beth would be surprised in the stability of that boat at high speeds compared to the rage. The problem is he can't touch the Lightning until it is bought and he can't buy it till the Rage is Sold. If someone had a spare 496 laying around that he could use then it would be all good cause he could pull his motor out and stick the 496 in the Rage and it would make the Rage much easier to sell. Than once he bought the Lightning he could give that 496 back. But I don't think there is much possiblity of that.
Otherwise he would have to come up with another $8K to buy a 496 to put in the Rage
