84 mph, Nordic Rage Video. Who's boat is it?
I found this vid on You Tube and thought I'd share it. It maybe a repost though. Sorry if so. However, I wonder what else has been done to the boat to run that speed?

This boat is new. In fact it is being delivered this weekend to the customer somewhere in Washington. Oregon Custome Marine did the work. This video was done Friday (I think their is two videos on their web site). Its on their web site also oregoncustommarine.com I'm impressed, the speed may have to do with the wood-free build up, or maybe its just that Lightning Headers are just that good. To find out what else was done to the boat maybe somebody needs to call OCM a schedule their boat for the same treatment.
. I know if I run into this boat with my 496 Heat I won't even try to pass him(heck, maybe I need to add these options to my boat). I guess if we see him out there we better hope the water is really rough so we have a chance. Garrett

It's an 08, wood free boat.
The boat is being delivered to Lake Chelan, WA today.
The only two things I know of that were done, Lighting Headers and a 28 Lab, other then that, I don't think they did anything else to the boat.
Great speeds for a stock boat and from talking to Tim at OCM, I guess the thing sounds better in person then in the video.

How bad would the 28p prop hurt the boat out of the hole? I don't know what prop they come with stock, but I can't imagine it doing to well on take off. I could be wrong though.

The boat runs great! Getting on plane no problem with the labbed 28.
we just delivered the boat to lake chelan 1000 ft above sea leavel. The boat performed great,again 1000ft above sea leavel 80ish on gps,and 82 on speedo 5100rpm's.( very flat water) we did get a bit more speed on the river.( 100ft above sea leavel)

Is that a pito tube or GPS speedo in the boats dashboard?

My Dad is still trying to sell his 05 S/C 540 Rage that will do at least 98, faster if you have the balls to take it there. I believe he has dropped the price down to $61,000 with the 540 and will sell it for $51,000 with a full factory warrantied 496 mag H/O. If he sells it with tthe 496 the 540 will go in the lightning with out the S/C

THe GPS speed was within 2mph of speedo.
