Fastest Heat?
Ok guys...
Who has the fastest Heat, and what was the setup?
I am not talking about some he said/she said BS story, but an actual consistant GPS reading, and someone else to verify this. Not some one time peak speed number, but a consistant performer, with witnesses to back it up.
I am pretty sure that the Ilmore 700 boat is the fastest to come out of the factory, with a consistant 86-87mph verifiable GPS speed.
So again...
Who has the fastest Heat. and what was the setup?

EBM modified 575SCi, Imco lower with 1" spacer, 32" TU/Merc B1.
Dave and Bob have also built some 90+ MPH Heats, and there are 3 more here.

I have ridden in the R-Tech boat at 99.3, 99.7 and 99.8 all on the rev limiter (6000) with a stock 32 at Lake Havasu. (4-5 people and never under a half tank) These numbers are from a Livorsi Digital GPS speedo with recall back by a Garmin handheld.
If we were able to play more at this elevation rather than our 5000 feet we would certainly be able to break the century mark with ease.
During our limited trips to the Poker Runs in Havasu it runs these numbers any time of day and gets there with mind blowing acceleration. As far as a hand full, no, it runs like it is on rails. Also has been run over to MaxMachine 2 of the 4 trips to Havasu for some teeth work
No BS numbers here, just facts. Ask DeserRage, it was an eye opening experience for him
The owner has since gotten bored and sold the boat this year and has now moved into a 388 Slingshot that we are currently building twin 1000EFIs with the new 4.0 Whipples. Now that ought to be an interesting ride
(as far as he said, she said, there was supposidly a solid yellow Heat on the Ohio River with a Pfaff 1100 that ran 103 and kept splitting the lower on a B-Max)
All it takes is horsepower
