Here is a picture of my motor all fresh from the Whipple compound.

960 hp closed cooled.

The best speed on the one and only day I tried it out, was 96.8 mph but had handeling issues that need working out. The next day, I drove the boat to Havasu to have Nordic do some warranty work on it, and build me a new hatch with some more ventelation. I should have it back the weekend after Memorial day.

Further prop/spacer testing will insue.

Hi Chris,
Your motor looks nice. Is that a 4.0L Whipple on top?
Best Regards,
Steve

Steve,

Yup, that is a 4.0... It looks just like a 3.3, except it is 3.5 inches longer. It can easily be identified by the shorter drive snout on the supercharger.

Chris,
What is the CFM of your throttle body? Other than the flame arrestor, which looks very cool, did you or Dustin make any changes to it (larger throttle blades, flow, etc)?
Best Regards,
Steve

Steve,

Dustin flowed the throttle body and said that it was good for about 1200 hp... ie no changes were needed.
