2003 Nordic heat 28
Hey guys I just bought a '03 heat. LOVE IT!!!! only 80hrs on its 496HO. What prop should I be running?? It came with a 23" that bounced off the rev limiter @ half throttle. I tried a 4 blade 25" and got 67mph but still on the limiter.
Another issue I encountered is when loaded up with 10 people/gas/beer it would cavitate halfway onto plane. My propshaft center is 3.5" below the keel (whipple it next year)

These hulls love power!

In an economy like this... selling a nice boat... you will take a beating.

I say Whipple it! ... of course I am somewhat biased.

What is wrong with the old one??? How is the new business going?? I hope better than excavation world. "slow and cheap, almost free" Other than that hope all is well I'm ready for summer. We still need to put a little Nordic Regatta together this year for the NW. I talked to Guy Johnson at the boat show this last week and we mention about getting all of us Nordic guys together at Roosevelt this year. That would be fun.

P.S. How are Josh and Jina doing???

Or I'll just keep it and add a whipple.
Tell ya what, I have a whipple & will trade for a season. Don't know what the ladies say, but in boats nothing is better than length.

I had a 24 Bravo 4 blade and with the same boat and engine and was right in the WOT range. You probably won't do any better than 67-68 with that engine. I also tried a lab 24 and lab 26 and none really worked better than the stock B24.

We went to the boat show and seen Guy and Cathy too it was nice to see them in the Spokane show. that show needs more boats like ours.
So where and when Nordic Regatta NW ?? We can help? i am SO ready to fire up the 525 its good therapy!! PS Josh and gina are doing great. We was out with them last nite.

Thanks Indy, Just bought a Bravo 1 24" 4 blade can't wait to try it. The 25 i tried was a trophy more ment for bass boats but it was redily available.
