John Lamont on this forum did the very same converstion on his 04. He can tell you everything you will need to know. He did a full stainless exhaust and it really looked nice. I beleive the speed was 76 or so if i remember right. I just sold the boat to its new owner last fall.

I really think you would be money head . If you just added a set of CMI's,and had the pcm re programed. Dont forget the labbed prop to match.
We have done this up graded many of times,and always seem to get 4+ MPH. We are doing one of these projects on a 2009 496ho 28 heat ob.
We plan to take lots of video of install ,and the end performance gains.
