Default powering down

Im selling my bowtie 622s (have 1 left) and going with less power to save on outdrives and keep me on the water longer.

I just bought 2 volvo penta DPX 420s with 64 hours on them. (6300.00 each) These are 496s. Ron Potter told me these are different from the 454/502 motors and the mounts are different. Arent these still BBC? I thought there might be an issue with my 10 pin cannon plug from the harness plugging in correctly but not mounting issues. Any inputwould be appreciated.

Hopefully these will get me back on the water with an assload of trouble free boating.

I've done several 454/502 to 496 swaps, and everything is in the same place, fit's with no problems!

Thanks Tony, I think maybe Potter was talking bout accessories mounting. I cant believe someone who has been building BBC for 30 years would think the motor mounts are different.
