bolsters
Hello friends,
My driver bolster, the front driver side leg has stripped 2 screws out. Does anyone have any experience accessing the underside of that area? I plan on reinforcing the area. Hope everyone had a great memorial! I did, enjoying the new 2400 watt sound system!

I haven't looked at mine in a while. I think the inside/inboard screws are accessible through the storage hatch. If those are the screws that stripped, I would replace them with stainless machine screws, washers and nylock nuts. You could also make an aluminum backing plate for extra strength.
Seems like the outboard screws were behind the center stringers. If they stripped, you could epoxy the old screw holes, drill new pilot holes and use the same screws. Without adding an inspection hatch (you could), I don't know how you could get underneath the flooring there to use machine screws.
