I dont wake board... my kids do.
I can keep the boat on plane down to 13 mph... but only with a specific formula.
P5x prop...a must have for slow water sports...usually a pitch or two smaller than my cruising prop.
Tabs centered to down position.
Someone sitting in the nose of the open bow..facing backwards.. usually the spotter.

Hey bobl,
Good move. I think the Heat is the best boat on the market. Period. We boat in the NW. My girls (and all of our hot boat friend's kids are pulled behind ours) I went for a ride in my buddy's 26 DCB with weed whackers on it. We did 98 - rippin and fun. But.... then they followed us around the lake saying wow... I bet our kids are having a great time behind their heat.
Our only problem (of course there is always a solution and usually lots of $$$$) is ALL of our friends have to wait for us and our 65 mph 502 MPI stock 28..... HMMMM we've got 550 hrs - it's never broke... BUT time to pull and play this winter.
IF anyone has suggestions about the repower. We are all ears.
Chris has suggested a 540.... I like it... Any other input? Cause.. Labor Day (tomorrow) is COLD..?
I'm glad you're getting your boat back.
Enjoy
Brad

BTW..... Chris. I love your avitar... reminds me of where we boat at Lake Billy Chinook. Or others know it as the Cove Palisades!
Met my wife there 20 years ago with THE first custom ordered 21 Eliminator Sport with a BB 454 and Bravo 1.... They did not want to build the boat! She insisted -- she's feisty!
